Dance competitions help promote self-confidence, discipline, character, dedication, and teamwork. RAVE strives to provide a competitive performance platform for dancers to share their artistic excellence in a safe, supportive environment.
EVENT ADMISSION
Admission to the RAVE Dance Challenge is absolutely FREE for people of all ages. Event specific admission information will be released prior to each event!
STUDIO DIRECTORS
Upon arrival at RAVE, please visit our Registration Desk to check in and receive your studio’s registration bundle, which includes: a RAVE clipboard, fully updated printed schedules with a RAVE guide for all registered teachers (highlighter and pen included), VIP “All-Access” passes for all registered teachers, along with a few surprises! All registered Studio Directors and Teachers will have the opportunity to sit in our reserved VIP seating with the best view of their magnificent work. You must be wearing your All-Access Pass to use this seating.
FAMILY FRIENDLY POLICY
RAVE realizes that dance and art cross a broad range of styles, taste and appropriateness. However, RAVE is a family friendly event and we are determined to set a standard to make sure inappropriate routines or behavior is penalized and subject to disqualification of the studio.
SPORTSMANSHIP POLICY
All Competitors, Family Members, Spectators, Studio Directors, and Teachers are required to show respect, courtesy, and sportsman-like behavior to all Competitors, Staff, Teachers, etc. at all times during the competition. We aim to create a healthy competitive environment in which dancers can enjoy themselves while gaining valuable performance experience, as well as learning the nature of healthy competition. We reserve the right to remove anyone from an event if they are hindering the achievement of any of the above goals.
LIVE STREAM
The live stream is completely FREE for family and friends to watch from anywhere! Streaming information will be released for each competition prior to the event.
Critiques and Results
Within 24 hours after each event, all score sheets & online critiques will be made available to the Studio Account from which the registration was originally submitted. Individual registrants will have full access to their critiques if they submitted their own registration, regardless of whether they are associated with a studio. If a studio prefers to have sole access to these critiques, all registrations must be submitted through their Studio Account and not from any individual accounts.
THE RAVE STAGE
RAVE’s Regional stage minimum is 40′ wide by 28’ deep, but may be larger depending on the venue.
◈ Wing space varies from venue to venue.
◈ Marley Dance Floor will be at all RAVE events.
◈ Tap Mics are positioned down stage.

Judging
A panel of highly qualified, vetted, and competent judges will critique all performances. All Studio Directors, Teachers, Parents, and Dancers, agree that the method of adjudication and the judging panel shall be at the sole discretion of RAVE Producers and that all decisions of our judges are final.

SAFETY POLICY
Any performer competing in dance competitions takes certain inherent risks. These include, but are not limited to, sprains, bruises, pulled muscles, and broken bones. Participation in this competition indicates the acceptance of such risks by performers. Therefore by virtue of entering this event, it is agreed that participants will not hold RAVE Dance Challenge or its officers, producers, staff or employees responsible for injuries sustained or illnesses contracted by them while in attendance and/or participating in any activity related to a RAVE Competition. RAVE Dance Challenge and the hosting facility are not responsible for personal injury to contestants or spectators.
